Watch World Cup 2014 in San Jose, CA

None of us wants to watch the World Cup alone!!  No, we want to be with a crowd of yelling fans who get to cheer at the sound of GOOOOOAAALLLLLLL!!! every couple of hours.  If you’re looking for great places to go watch the World Cup 2014 in the South Bay here’s a list of places that have a lot of TVs, good food, and should have a great atmosphere to go with them.

Downtown San Jose

Da Kine Island Grill – This relatively unknown spot has great food and beer and 6 or 7 well placed large, flat screen TVs so that you’ll have a great view regardless of where you sit.  Rumor has it that they will be offering beer specials during the World Cup games.  They are located on 23 N. Market St and offer validation for parking, which is located right next door in the parking garage.

The Farmers Union – While they are relatively new to Downtown, they have a great menu and a vast number of beers available along with a TON of TVs.  Despite being new, I have a feeling that they are going to get packed pretty quick.  They do have enough TVs where you should be able to see the game despite where you sit.  They are located on the corner of San Pedro and Santa Clara streets.

SmokeEaters – Want wings and World Cup?  This is where to go.  They have plenty of TVs, fried food and beer.  They are on 3rd St in between E Santa Clara and E San Fernando.  They also have locations in Santa Clara near Santa Clara University and near Mercado.

Campbell

The Luxury Box – This is a little hidden gem in Campbell that will have great food, great beer.  It shouldn’t be too packed (unless this post gets out), but it should have good crowd.  They don’t have a ton of TVs, but they’re situated so you should have a good view despite where you plant yourself.

The Garret – What’s not to love about tasty pizza and beer to go along with some soccer?  Check out the Garret as a place to watch the World Cup.

Sunnyvale and Cupertino

Bowlmor – Get some bowling in while you watch the World Cup…or just drink beers.  They have a great TV setup everywhere and decent food to go with it.  There’s plenty of parking at the mall.

Jake’s Pizza – Jake’s is a great place to get good pizza and watch sports.  I’m sure it will also be a great place to watch the World Cup.  A sister store to the Garret, they also have locations in Saratoga, Willow Glenn, Palo Alto (Boardwalk),  and Menlo Park (Oasis).
