Super tasty garlic parmesan brussel sprouts recipe

We all need to eat better, including me.  Though, many people don’t know many easy recipes that both taste good and are healthy for you.  Well, here’s one of them – Garlic Parmesan Brussel Sprouts!brussellsprouts

Here’s what you need:

Brussel Sprouts (I usually use 1 bag)
2 to 3 TBSP Olive Oil
Chopped Garlic (fresh is best, but jarred is OK)
Salt
1 Package of Parmesan Cheese
Frying Pan

Cut the Brussel Sprouts in half, or you can chop them in a food processor.

Heat up the oil in the frying pan to a med-high heat.  When the oil is hot, saute the chopped garlic until it’s golden brown.  Then throw in the brussel sprouts and add a dash of salt to them.  Saute the sprouts until they are golden brown or carmelized.  This usually takes about 3 to 5 min, stirring every 30 seconds.

Remove the sprouts from the pan and place them into a bowl.  Let them cool for about 2 minutes and then add the parmesan cheese.  Now enjoy!

Here are a few other things you can add that make them even tasier, but a bit less healty:

Italian Bread Crumbs (or smashed croutons)
Bacon
Pistacios
Drizzle of Balsamic Vinaigrette
Batter in flour before cooking
