Cinnamon Roll Waffles are a quick, tasty treat you can make for breakfast.  They come out warm and crispy like waffles but with the fresh cinnamon taste of a cinnamon roll.  I forget where I originally heard about this idea, but I recently purchased a can of cinnamon rolls, you know the type that you twist the cardboard can and it pops open.  I kept them in my fridge until today when it was the perfect time to make them.  Both my nieces stayed the night with my daughter, so I knew they would be a treat that the girls would like.

Cinnamon Roll Waffles are super easy to make.  As I mentioned earlier, just buy a can of the cinnamon rolls and open them up.  Now get your waffle iron really hot and put on a light coat of vegetable oil or melted butter so the waffles don’t stick.  Tear off one of the rolls and keep it rolled up. Now place it in the center of the waffle iron.  Close the lid and cook it.  It’s that simple!

My waffle iron is similar to those that you see in hotels, so it tells me when the waffle is ready, but it seamed to be about 45 seconds to 1 minute to get them crispy.  Cook up all of your rolls and then open up the packet of frosting and drizzle it over the waffles.   You’re now ready to serve them up!
