I haven an Amazon Kindle and I love it!  I also have the Kindle app on my Android phone and Android tablet.  My daughter is also learning to love the Kindle as we have discovered that you can get free books for it!

Amazon has made available hundreds, if not thousands of free books to those that own a Kindle.  The majority of these books are the classics that you had to read in elementary and high school.  On top of the classics, there is also an amazing collection of biographies, history books, language books and other books to enhance your education.

If every kid had an Amazon kindle or a tablet to access the Kindle platform then they could literally have a library in their hands.  Even with a computer a person can access Amazon’s free books.  By reading these books a child or adult could get a world class education for free!

There are books available from famous authors such as Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde and more!

Even if you don’t have a Kindle, it’s worth going to Amazon.com and searching for “classics on Kindle free” to get a list of all the available books that you can download for free.
