Great BBQ in the Silicon Valley and the Bay Area | Piccolo Perisan Cuisine in Sunnyvale

While Piccolo may not be considered traditional American BBQ, it’s delicious meat cooked over an open flame, which to me is a form of BBQ.  Piccolo is Perisan Cuisine, which consists mostly of Kabobs, Falafel, and wraps.  What I go for is the Kabobs.

Piccolo has the best Koobideh  and Chicken Thigh kabobs in the Sunnyvale and Silicon Valley area.  As you can see from the picture here I took from my trip to Piccolo, the kabobs are nice and juicy.  What you can’t see is how amazingly tasty they are!!  The Koobideh, which is just ground up beef a kabobs, have just the right amount of spices in them and are always served piping hot.  All the kabobs are cooked to order.  You have a choice of ordering the kabobs a la carte, or you can order a platter that includes basmati rice and salad, or bbq tomato.   Each order comes with flat bread, butter, and an onion wedge.

Another great things about Piccolo is it’s friendly owner who is always greeting the customers and making sure the food is great.  He has filled his cooler with traditional yogurt drinks as well as water and soda.  Every time I eat here is a pleasant experience and I’m sure you’ll have the same!
