I found the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP as I was looking for a place to get a quick way to get an update on my site analytics without having to go into Google Analytics.  I installed it a few weeks ago and it is working great.  It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles you would expect by going into the Google Anayltics dashboard, but it provides you a great overview for your own blog.

What’s great about the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP is that it can also do the site tracking for you.  This means you don’t have to add the tracking code into your theme or another plugin.  With GAD for WP you just grant it access to your Google Analytics account and tell it which site you are tracking.

When I create sites for some of the businesses that have asked me to, I always install this dashboard for them so that they don’t have to worry about going to get a GA account of their own and can get a quick view of their traffic and how the traffic is getting to their site.
