Too often in our society we look down upon failure. As a result we have a created a society of people that fear failure and don’t know what to do when they encounter failure. By doing as Sara’s dad did and asking our children, “What did you fail at today?” and helping them realize that failure, when learned from, is a positive thing.

Beyond just asking your children this question, you can also schedule it on your calendar to pop up the question to you at the end of the day. Then you can journal your failures and what you learned from them. Wouldn’t that be a great thing to pass on to your kids along with an entrepreneurial spirit?
